SPRING 2018 EVEREST CIRCUIT TREKKERS
In the spring of 2018 Inbody Expeditions traveled with a group of trekkers along the Everest Circuit route in the Khumbu Region of Nepal. Spending 15 days together on the trail our group of 16 individuals transformed into one family unit walking our way through Nepal's mountains and canyons.
Struggling with living at high elevations (we were above 15,000 feet for 7 nights), overcoming mental fatigue, hiking through unexpected fresh snow and willing ourselves over high mountain passes were all experiences no one in the group will ever forget. Overcoming these adversities brought both personal and group development many didn't know was possible at the beginning of the trip.
"This is the hardest thing I have ever done...I would highly recommend it to anyone who is up for it" was the comment made through smiles of gratitude and happiness from many people as we descended back down into the canyons on the final days of our trip.
All together the trip was a huge success. Our trip carried luck with it, not only to get in and out of Lulka (the airport) on our scheduled times and dates; but also to have the good fortune of being able to see Mount Everest at all of our view points along the trail.
Our Nepali team of 16 did a fantastic job of taking care of all of our group's needs every step along the trail. Our trekking team also did a wonderful job falling into the Nepali trail pace and taking time every day to observe and appreciate where they were in the world.
Inbody Expeditions would like to thank each and every person involved in this. You helped make the trip what it was and we look forward to hopefully sharing some Nepali trail time with you again soon.
Namaste,
Jon & Elizabeth
